UNITS from LEVEL I Select()
CPPSEC1003A Apply security procedures for the responsible service of alcohol
CPPSEC1001A Identify and report security risk situations
CPPSEC1005A Apply critical infrastructure protection procedures

There is a PROVISIONAL licence in Tasmania. The licence includes seven (7) units of study that must be completed prior to applying for the licence.

Participants will be issued a “Statement of Attainment” for the 7 units as partial completion of the Certificate II in Security operations (CPP20212).
The remainder of units for the issue of a full licence must be completed within 12 months.

The issue of a full security licence in Tasmania requires the completion of 16 units of study for a general unarmed guard licence and 21 units for a licence to be able to do Crowd Control work.
